Hi my name is Olga.

I’m the Founder and owner of Unspoken Words Family Therapy Professional Corporation. I’m a licensed Marriage and Family therapist and I graduated from Santa Clara University with an MA in Counseling Psychology. I spent my first few years as an associate working with a diverse population of clients. From high risk youth, families, couples, to substance use treatment and the homeless population. Currently, I work with Women who have experienced a reproductive trauma or difficulty in talking about their reproductive journey.

I serve clients who are residing ONLY in the state of California.

Prior to 2024……

I was having a hard time deciding where I wanted to focus my attention on for my work.  I had explored working with Step Mothers and blended families (this is still an area of interest of mine ), or working primarily with adults struggling to manage anxiety.

It wasn’t until January 2024….

where everything shifted for me, I experienced my own missed miscarriage at 13 weeks due to a rare genetic abnormality called Triploidy (link here for info). I felt a mix of emotions from embarrassment, sadness, shock, to anger and discouragement. It is not easy hearing words “ I’m sorry, there is no heartbeat”. ( If you’d like to hear my story, please click here). It was during my journey of loss where I learned that there isn’t much support out there for women who go through a pregnancy loss.  In that moment, I realized I wanted to contribute to this community and use what helped me to help other women find inner healing, peace, and comfort through simply talking about their story.  Words are powerful and I found that many have a hard time moving through the grief because of the difficulty in simply talking about their experience.

There is hope..

I can help you talk about your loss and process all the emotions that are present for you.  I can help you feel validated, seen, and understood; allowing you to find inner peace and healing while honoring your experience. Through talk therapy, coping skills, mindfulness techniques, abstract work (writing, journaling, etc), and CBT, I can help you manage and understand the grief, connect to your loved ones, and to find hope again.

My Approach

  • I’m certified in Mindfulness and I commonly use CBT, Narrative Therapy, Solution Focus, and Psychodynamic.

  • My favorite techniques while working with clients are more abstract approaches like imagery, meditation, writing and drawing.  Anything to bring something that may be hard to explain, to life.

Watch for an example on a journal entry to help manage and process your emotions.

Outcome

My hoping is that you leave treatment with attaining your set goals, having built new insight into yourself and being able to have awareness of your thought process, behavioral patterns, and re-writing your reproductive story. Thus, allowing you to cope with the waves of life.
